DIVING TRAINING & CERTIFICATION

Start your Scuba Diving Adventure by doing the first half of your certification at home.  Begin by signing up for an online PADI open water dive course at www.padi.com, prior to coming to Belize.  Complete your textbook portion of the certification at home.  Then finish your dive certification while on vacation here in Belize, in the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean ocean.  

PADI - DIVING CERTIFICATION

WHAT IS PADI?  The Professional Association of Dive Instructors, is the world's leading scuba diving training organization.  Scuba diving with our PADI Dive instructors and Divemasters can help transform your life through education, experience, equipment and environmental conservation.

Our Dive Center also offers a number of scuba diving trips and tours from which you may choose.  Please pursue our list of PADI courses below.  NOTE:  Below you will see references to a "PIC fee".  In order to receive PADI certification upon completion of your course, you must fill out a "Positive Identification Card" or "PIC card"  which is then sent to PADI.  PADI uses this card to register you in their system, and to issue your PADI certification card.

PADI ONLINE SCUBA TRAINING COURSES

Scuba diving provides the trill of a new adventure! Now is the time to start your adventure with the online PADI open water dive course.  Do not waste your vacation time studying for your certification test.  Instead, do your course work at home at your leisure, and then fishing up with your certification dives in the warm, crystal clear blue waters of Ambergris caye, Belize.

NOVICE (BEGINNERS) COURSES


DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING RESORT COURSE

This course is an introduction into the world of diving.  It is designed to see if you would like to pursue the adventure of becoming a certified diver.  The course includes the viewing of a training video, learning about and setting up the dive gear, learning basic dive skills, and a one tank dive.  Use of dive gear is included.

COST:  $150.00 USD per person

SCUBA DIVER COURSE

In this course you will be certified to dive to a maximum depth of 40 feet.  Requirements include viewing an instructional video, taking a multiple choice test, confined water skills instruction, and two open water dives.  This is a two day course, and includes a $40.00 manual, a $30.00 PIC fee and use of dive gear.

COST:  $380.00 USD per person


OPEN WATER DIVE COURSE

Becoming a certified PADI Open Water Diver!  This course includes the viewing of an instructional video, a multiple choice test, confined water skills instruction, and four open water dives.  This is a three day course which includes a $40.00 manual, a $30.00 PIC fee, and use of dive gear. 

COST:  $450.00 USD per person
There is a 10% discount for groups of three or more persons, if booked directly with us.

OPEN WATER DIVER REFERRAL COURSE

If it has been some time since you have dived, and you feel the need to go over your skills, this refresher course is for you.  This course includes classroom work and one dive.

ADVANCED COURSES


ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVE COURSE

Take a big step up to the next level in your diving education, and become a better diver.  This course includes classroom sessions, and five open water dives with deep diver and navigation being mandatory dives.  You may choose from night dive, peak performance buoyancy, fish identification, boat diver or other specialty for your last three dives.  The price includes use of dive gear, a $40.00 manual and a $30.00 PIC fee.

COST:  $380.00 USD per person

RESCUE DIVER COURSE

Take another big step up to the next level in your diving education, and become a much better and safer diver.  This course includes classroom sessions, confined water dives, and rescue scenario dives.  The price below includes EFR certification, use of dive gear, a $40.00 manual and a $30.00 PIC fee.

DIVEMASTER COURSES


DIVEMASTER COURSE

Go from a recreational diver to a PADI dive professional who can be employed to lead dives for a dive center.  This is a fourteen day or more course which includes an apprenticeship in our dive center.  The price below includes use of dive gear and a $30.00 PIC fee.  Book are not included:

ENRICHED AIR (Nitrox)

Learn the ins and outs of diving with oxygen enriched air.  Enjoy longer dives and a reduction of nitrogen in your blood.  Includes classroom work and $30.00 PIC fee.  Books are not incldued.
