One of the great delights of Ambergris Caye is the overwhelming offering and variety of great food. Each restaurant offers its own version of old favorites and the infusion of Mexican, Caribbean and Belizean food is mouth watering.
The Belize Barrier Reef, offers a feast of seafood, right to your plate each night. Fresh lobster, conch, stone crab, claws, shrimp, calamari, red snapper, grouper, yellow tail snapper, tuna and at selected restaurants, you may even find snook on the menu. You'll also discover a host of different cuisines from Oriental to European, Continental to Italian, Mayan to Creole, and Mexican to Thai. Sushi, pizza, a big juicy steak, barbecue beach front? All of this is available on Ambergris Caye.
We have a few favorite restaurant, but please be sure to stop by Blue Water Grill, on Tuesday and Thursday nights for sushi, and Elvi's Kitchen on Friday nights for a Mayan buffet. Sample Executive Chef, Chris Aycock at Blue Water Grill, and Amy Knox at Wild Mango's.

We have recreated at an atmosphere typical of the old San Pedro Village kitchen 25 years ago with an outdoor fogon where all the food is cooked and prepared. On El Fogon's menu you can find any, if not all, of the typical home-cooked Creole and Mestizo foods that are typical to Belize, in particular San Pedro.
