Hi, today I want to show you how to make jungle juice. Yup, you heard me right, jungle juice. I invented this special recipe one afternoon when I was bored and didn't have anything to do. Now the whole island asks for it by name, "jungle juice". I mixed up a batch this afternoon and hand delivered it to all the guests at the pool. One couple from Russia (to my surprise) handed me $10.00 and said, "This is the best drink, we have had on the island so far." You start with four important ingredients (4 different flavors of soda pop): Red Fanta, Orange Fanta, Grape Fanta, and Sprite. You put a little ice into your cup, open all soda bottles and then add a little soda to each glass. Mix over ice, and shake..............and there you have it, "jungle juice". It's the new popular drink being served in San Pedro, Belize. All the guests love it and I have become the expert on how this drink is made. JUNGLE JUICE - Being served only in Belize - Central America! THE FOUR IMPORTANT INGREDIENTS TO JUNGLE JUICE.

It is 28 degrees and snowing today in the States, where my grandma lives. Here's what we did today grandma, while you were watching it snow. Today, we had off school - so our adventure today took us 6 miles up the coast, North on Ambergris Caye Island. Mom told us, "Pack your bag and be ready to board a boat in 1 hour!" So Christina and I grabbed our backpack, a bottle of water, a beach towel, a coloring book & crayons and downed a bowl of Cheerios. As we waited for Alex, (mom's boat captain) to show up, it started to rain and this upset Christina and I. But mom said, "View lt......like you're just taking a shower with your cloths on." When did that, it was actually kind of fun. Alex came to pick us up at 9:00 a.m., and took us up the coast to a beautiful Villa named "Casa Pisces". We kicked our feet in the sand, walked on the dock, swung on the swings, and played "House". We got to see starfish, jellyfish and a snail that lost it's shell, right off the dock. Then for lunch, mom treated us to Ramon's Village. We had a great time and I hope you enjoy my pictures, of the day below. I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY, RAMON'S VILLAGE HAS THE BEST "FISH FINGERS" EVER! I wanted to share with everyone, my day sailing with Nana & Papa. There was alot of new and exciting things that I experienced this day. We got up early and boarded a catamaran sail boat. Then we sailed down to the Hol Chan Marine Reserve. Papa helped me to get into the water, after I put my life vest on. I would poke my head into the water and could see all these fish swimming around me. It was alittle scarey, but I had my Papa holding my hand the entire time. Then we went to the island of Caye Caulker and had lunch. You can see me in these pictures with some of my family. Also, mom is there (as always), holding her camera in hand. Mom doesn't go anywhere without a camera. At first, it was frustrating to always have to be smiling for a picture. But, I soon I got to see me in these pictures and realized I enjoyed it very much. Anyone who knows our family, knows that mom loves pictures. So it is not surprising to any of us, that mom has placed thousands of photographs on this website. She feels that pictures speak 1,000 words. I hope you enjoy looking at my pictures as much as I do. It was a great day with Nana & Papa, and I am looking forward to their coming back to see me real soon. |
