U.S. gateway cities to Belize include Miami, Houston and New Orleans. Belize is a little more than 2 hours by air from Miami, Houston or New Orleans. Flights to Belize are also available out of Los Angelas, New York, Washington D.C. and from Toronto, Canada.
Some visitors prefer to fly into Cancun as the savings on air-fare can be significant. From Cancun take the ADO air-conditioned buses to the Mexican border town to Chetumal, or we recommend a private arrangement with a private transfer company from Cancun Airport to Corozal, Belize. Then taking a Tropic commuter aircraft to the island of Ambergris Caye. From Cancun to the Belize border is about a 4 hour ride, then from the Belize border to the town of Corzoal is about a half hour. From Corozal you will board an commuter aircraft with Tropic Airways and you will arrive to the island 20 minutes later.
